The whole experience was really good. The breakfast was full size and varied with good fresh coffee, the staff was exceptionally welcoming. My room was huge & brand-new with the shower, coffee plus the single glazed window. The location was comfortable and perfect and near a garden and an orchard. The hotel was located about 20 minutes walk from centre.

Overall had comfortable stay during whole visit. After a long drive the incredibly nice and welcoming staff was waiting for us. The location was great and lovely in a shopping area, next to Stockbridge which is a very nice area for bars, restaurants, and Edinburgh tourist attractions.

The staff is incredibly nice here, the services are very efficient, and location is excellent very close to public transport, the castle and the centre of town. The guest room is brand-new and has iron/ironing board, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
